<p>The invention relates to medicine, in particular to traumatology and orthopedics and can be used for treating progressive thoracic scoliosis in children.According to the invention, the claimed method involves performance of general anesthesia, after which the patient is positioned lying on its side, on the convex side of the scoliotic curvature using rollers and clamps by rotary and compressive movements is performed the derotation of vertebrae involved in the scoliotic curvature, then is performed the bilateral stabilization by introducing a brace in horizontal plane through the 4…7 ribs, at a distance of 3…4 cm from the costal cartilages through the osteomedullar space, through the costosternal joints in the sternum, then through the same ribs, between the anterior and mid axillary line are bilaterally introduced in vertical plane crosswise two braces from the concave side of the scoliotic curvature, and then from the convex side of the scoliotic curvature.</p> |
