METHOD FOR APPLYING HEAT RESISTANT PROTECTION COMPONENTS ONTO SURFACE OF HEAT EXPOSED COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time, work, and cost expense and at the same time ensure accurate positioning and bonding of each of multiple tiles onto a surface of a heat exposed component to be protected.SOLUTION: A method comprises steps of: preparing at least two separate heat resistant protection components 2; joining a top surface and/or a bottom surface and/or at least one side surface of the heat protection components 2 by flexible means 1, 4 and fixing the flexible means 1, 4 to the heat protection components 2 by an adhesive material 3 for obtaining an integrally handleable unit; fixing the integrally handleable unit by applying and brazing the surface of each heat protection component 2 on the surface of a heat exposed component; and burning out the material of the flexible means 1, 4 and the adhesive material 3 after brazing during a following oxidizing thermal step.
