<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear cutting solid tool capable of preventing adverse effect on a cutting target surface by suppressing a shape of a cutting blade and a land width from changing, even when a chip breaker is formed on a cutting face.SOLUTION: The gear cutting solid tool includes: a first cutting face 11 formed on an upper face a; a flank 13 formed on a first side face c arranged orthogonally to the upper face a; a first cutting blade 14 forming an intersection between the first cutting face 11 and the flank 13; and a first chip breaker 15 formed on the first cutting face 11. Further, the first cutting blade 14 includes: a curved tooth bottom cutting part 14a arranged at the tip end side for cutting near the tooth bottom of a gear; and a curved tooth surface cutting part 14b arranged so as to smoothly continue from the tooth bottom cutting part 14a and extend toward the base end side, for cutting a tooth surface of the gear. Also, the first chip breaker 15 is formed along the tooth surface cutting part 14b.</p> |
