PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex power supply system, an information processing device, and a monitoring apparatus which are capable of equalizing or almost equalizing supply power from each power supply source even when one of the power supply units of an information processing device goes down, thereby allowing the operation of each information processing device to be continued even when a power supply unit of another information processing device further goes down.SOLUTION: When, among a plurality of information processing devices, each including a first power supply unit supplied with power from a first power supply source, a second power supply unit supplied with power from a second power supply source, an electronic circuit group comprising a plurality of electronic circuits supplied with power from the first and second power supply sources, and a management control unit, a first information processing device has had its second power supply unit gone down, supply power from the first power supply unit of some other of the plurality of information processing devices, except the first information processing device and including the information processing device concerned, is stopped or reduced, and power shortage arising from the stoppage or reduction of supply power from the first power supply unit is complemented by causing power to be supplied from the second power supply unit of the information processing device which has had supply power from its first power supply unit stopped or reduced. |
