PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-in/push-out card connector preventing a damage of a heart cam and capable of maintaining a stable card retention state.SOLUTION: A push-in/push-out card connector 1 includes a heart cam 7 having an engagement recess 28 in which one end part in a card insertion/extraction direction engages with an engagement pin 9. By first card push-in operation, the engagement pin 9 moves to an engaging position with the engagement recess 28, so that the movement of the ejector 5 in a card extrusion direction is restricted. By card push-in operation for the second time, the engagement pin 9 is detached from the engagement recess 28, so that the engagement is canceled. The heart cam 7 includes a reinforcement metal fitting 27 having a metal reinforcement connection part 30 which is disposed inside the engagement recess 28 and to which the engagement pin 9 is connected. |
