<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a chuck apparatus for machine tools having a function of drawing in work-piece to the side of the chuck body that a discrepancy between the average position of running out of the work-piece due to chuck rotation and the chuck rotation center tends to occur, leading to difficulty of precision machining with required accuracy due to core deviation, in working the work-piece.SOLUTION: Urging means is provided in each of a plurality of master jaws, and adjustment means for adjusting the spring constant of the individual urging means is provided in each urging means. The draw-in amount of the jaws is adjustable for each jaw, enabling fine adjustment of the core deviation of the work-piece.</p> |
