1,180,802. Purification of amyloglucosidase. ORGANON LABORATORIES Ltd. 23 March, 1967 [26 March, 1966], No. 13841/67. Heading C3H. A process for the purification of amyloglucosidase preparations comprises the inactivation in situ, without removal, of transglucosidase contained in an aqueous solution of the impure enzyme by incubating the solution at a pH below 2À5 without adding auxiliary substances other than a pH regulating compound which does not cause precipitation of the transglucosidase and which does not have surface-active properties. The compound added may be hydrochloric, sulphuric, phosphoric, citric, oxalic, acetic or formic acid. The aqueous solution treated may comprise the entire fermentation broth in which the amyloglucosidase has been formed, a culture filtrate, or a solution of an enzyme concentrate.
|
