PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor capable of suppressing and preventing cracks from being generated in a ceramic element body owing to the diffusion of metal configuring an external electrode to an inner electrode, and ensuring high reliability.SOLUTION: When a ceramic element body is cut in parallel to a first and second side surface 21 so as to expose an inner electrode 2 and viewed from a cut end surface thereof, a bonding rate which is a rate of bonding an external electrode 5 and the inner electrode is within a range of 30 to 70%, and on a non-bonding inner electrode 2a1 where an end portion on an extended side of the inner electrode which is extended to an end surface of the ceramic element body is not bonded to the external electrode, a glass 13 is allowed to be present between the end portion on the extended side and the external electrode to be bonded. When a thickness of a dielectric layer interposed between the inner electrodes is defined as t1 (μm) and a thickness of the inner electrode is defined as t2 (μm), a distance D (μm) between the non-bonding inner electrode and the external electrode is set to be within a range of satisfying the relation: (t1+t2)×5>D>(t1+t2)×0.5. |
