PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately cancel crosstalk from adjacent tracks in a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A reproduction information signal from a target track being data detection target, and a reproduction information signal from tracks on inner and outer peripheral sides to be a crosstalk component, are read from a memory in a coarse synchronization state, respectively, and the read signals are input to the respective adaptive equalizer units. Outputs of the respective adaptive equalizer units are added to be output as equalization signals, and binarization processing is applied to the equalization signals to obtain binary data. Tap coefficient control for adaptive equalization of the respective adaptive equalizer units is performed using an equalization error between an equalization target signal obtained on the basis of a binary detection result and the equalization signal. It is thus possible to obtain equalization signals on which calculation of canceling the crosstalk component is performed using reproduction information signals on inner and outer peripheral tracks adaptively equalized for correction of phase errors. |
