<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress wasteful additional boiling in a manual hot water quantity mode. <P>SOLUTION: A storage type water heater has a control means 23 controlling a heating means 9 so as to boil up a target storage hot water quantity in a specific time period and additionally boil the residual quantity of the target hot water quantity which was not boiled in the specific time period in times other than the specific time period, and has an automatic hot water quantity mode calculating the target hot water storing quantity according to a hot water supply load, starting additional boiling when a stored hot water quantity detecting means 18 detects the shortage of the first additional boiling starting quantity, and stopping the additional boiling when detecting the excess of the first additional boiling stopping hot water quantity in times other than the specific time period, and a manual hot water quantity mode starting additional boiling when the stored hot water quantity detecting means 18 detects the shortage of the second additional boiling starting hot water quantity less than the first additional boiling starting hot water quantity and stopping the additional boiling when detecting the excess of the second additional boiling stopping storing hot water quantity less than the first additional boiling stopping storing hot water quantity in times other than the specific time period when a target hot water quantity is input by manual operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
