The present invention provides a method for manufacturing surface-treated nano-metal oxides using a conductive material; the surface-treated nano-metal oxides manufactured by the same; an electrode comprising the same; an energy storage device; and a complex. More specifically, the manufacturing method comprises the steps of: a) mixing a metal oxide precursor, an oxidizer, and a conductive material and manufacturing a mixed solution; and b) hydrothermally reacting the mixed solution.
