<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for operating a channel of a wireless terminal. The disclosed method for operating a channel comprises the following steps of: establishing a channel to an OTA server by setting a dedicated bearer through a previously connected PDN when a SIM requests to open a channel for a BIP operation; transmitting established channel information to the SIM; and closing the channel to the OTA server by deactivating the dedicated bearer when the SIM requests to close the channel to the OTA server. As a result, data transmission which occurs for a BIP operation is clearly distinguished from other data transmission such as user data transmission or the like, thereby facilitating a billing process or QCI operation.</p> |
