The present invention relates to a peeling assisting member which forms a peeling starting point when a polarizing plate is peeled from a laminate having a substrate and the polarizing plate adhering to one side surface of the substrate. The peeling assisting member comprises: a lower surface portion arranged along a surface of the polarizing plate side of the laminate; and a front end portion having a curved surface for the polarizing plate which is being peeled to be bent and followed.
