The invention relates to an apparatus for processing cardboard blanks (26), in particular of plastic-laminated drinks cartons, comprising a skiving station (16) having a scarfing device (34) for scarfing blanks (26) by means of a bell knife (40), the scarfing device (34) having a housing (36), on which a knife shaft (38) is rotatably mounted, on which a bell knife (40) is held in a replaceable manner, and having a drive motor (62) for the knife shaft (38), wherein the housing (36) is held on one side on at least one joint (44) in a pre-adjusted working position, in which the bell knife (40) allows scarfing of blanks, and wherein a locking device (46) is coupled to the at least one joint (44) in order either to lock the scarfing device in the working position or to allow pivoting into a maintenance position or raising of the scarfing device (34) for the purpose of replacing the bell knife (40). |
