PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dust-proof property of a housing by preventing a melted elastic member from solidifying before forming an elastic section.SOLUTION: An optical scanning device includes; an opening 104a; a dust-proof glass 105; an elastic section 107 for bonding the dust-proof glass 105 to a cover member 104; an inlet port 104d from which melted elastic member is injected when forming the elastic section 107; and a channel section 104e into which the melted elastic member injected from the inlet port 104d is flowed to form the elastic section 107. When the elastic section 107 is formed by injecting the melted elastic member from the inlet port 104d and allowing the same to flow into the channel section 104e, a cross-sectional area of the elastic section in a short-axis direction of the opening 104a on a side closer to the inlet port 104d is greater than a cross-sectional area of the elastic section 107 in the short-axis direction on a side away from the inlet port 104d. |
