Provided is a switch capable of readily fulfilling the role of interruption required in a high-voltage switch, and, having a short interruption time. The switch is provided with pressure vessels (1, 2) filled with an insulating medium, a plurality of contact parts (7, 9), an insulating spacer (3) dividing the inside of the pressure vessels (1, 2) into a number of internal spaces (101, 102) equal to the number of contact parts, and a spacer electrode (6) that traverses the insulating spacer (3) and is secured to the insulating spacer (3). The plurality of contact parts (7, 9) comprises contact points, an operating part (29) for driving the contact points, and a transmission part (36) disposed inside the pressure vessels (1, 2). One contact part is disposed in each of the internal spaces (101, 102), all the contact points are connected electrically in series via the spacer electrode (6), and the operating part (29) drives the contact points. |
