<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize cleaning processing of a photoreceptor without complicating a circuit.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a charging power source 11 which applies a charging voltage for electrostatic latent image formation and a charging bias voltage for cleaning processing, to a charging unit; a developing power source 12 capable of outputting a developing bias voltage having positive and negative polarities, to a developing unit; a constant voltage generating and holding unit 15 which generates and holds a fixed potential difference between the charging unit and the developing unit; a developing power supply control unit 26 which controls output of the developing bias voltage to the developing unit; and a charging power supply control unit 25 which controls output of a prescribed charging bias voltage to the charging power source when the developing power supply control unit outputs the developing bias voltage having antipolarity to the charging unit.</p> |
