<p>A brushless DC motor has: a rotor equipped with a permanent magnet and attached to a rotational axis; a stator having a hollow portion for housing the rotor in a rotatable manner and having a plurality of coils disposed on the inner circumferential surface facing the rotor; a sensor board facing the rotor in an axial direction and having a magnetic sensor for detecting the rotational position of the rotor; and a board attachment having one end fixed to the stator and the other end extending from the inner circumferential side of the stator toward a radial direction and holding the sensor board so that the magnetic sensor mounted surface of the sensor board faces the permanent magnet of the rotor.</p>
