Embodiments of the invention receive an expression of interest for a benefactor from a user, propose creation of an affinity program associated with the benefactor to the user, and create an affinity program associated with the benefactor. Creating includes determining at least one triggering action for triggering a donation to the benefactor, determining at least one potential participant for the affinity program, and inviting the at least one potential participant to join the affinity program. Creating the affinity may also include proposing the affinity program to the benefactor and negotiating contractual terms on behalf of a program administrator, such as, by using an artificial intelligence engine. In some embodiments, creating the affinity also includes, in response to determining the number of expressions of interest from unique users surpasses a predetermined threshold, initiating the affinity program by inviting at least one of the unique users to join the program.

1. A method for creating an affinity program, the method comprising:
receiving an expression of interest for a benefactor from a customer; proposing, by a processing device, creation of an affinity program associated with the benefactor to the customer; and creating, by a processing device, an affinity program associated with the benefactor, the creating comprising:
determining at least one triggering action for triggering a donation to the benefactor;determining at least one potential participant for the affinity program;inviting the at least one potential participant to join the affinity program; andenrolling the at least one potential participant in the affinity program; providing a collaboration network comprising one or more users and the customer, the collaboration network configured to provide the one or more users and the customer with an opportunity to collaborate with regard to a common monetary collection goal; linking a plurality of collaboration affinity accounts including the affinity account owned by the customer and one or more affinity accounts owned by the one or more users such that transactions associated with the collaboration affinity accounts are summed to determine progress toward the common monetary collection goal; receiving the donation from the at least one potential participant and applying the donation to an account associated with the benefactor; in response to applying the donation to the account associated with the benefactor, initiating communication of information regarding the donation and information regarding progress toward the common monetary collection goal comprising a total amount of donations collected in progress toward the common monetary collection goal to the customer; in response to applying the donation to the account associated with the benefactor, initiating communication of information regarding the donation and information regarding progress and information regarding progress toward the common monetary collection goal comprising a total amount of donations collected in progress toward the common monetary collection goal to at least one of the users of the collaboration network; and determining the common monetary collection goal has been achieved by donations made by the collaboration network; receiving feedback from the benefactor including information indicating an actual effect of the benefactor receiving the donations made by the collaboration network; and in response to receiving the feedback, initiating communication to the customer and to at least one of the users of the collaboration network, at least some of the information indicating the actual effect to the benefactor of the donations made by the collaboration network.
