<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining method in water in which a large-scale facility such as a workboat with a crane is not required, and only a necessary minimum of sediment has to be eliminated, a construction period is shortened, and cost reduction can be achieved.SOLUTION: An earth retaining method in water is characterized by: disposing frame forming members such as H-shaped steel on a boundary line of an area desired to excavate and eliminate sediment in the water; mounting guide members of earth retaining members such as T-shaped steel or the H-shaped steel in the inner sides of the frame forming members every predetermined interval in a lengthwise direction; inserting the earth retaining members between the guide members; providing vibration with a pile driver from the upper end sides of the earth retaining members and driving the earth retaining members in the sediment; and performing earth retaining to the outside of the area desired to excavate and eliminate the sediment.</p> |
