PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump capable of suppressing generation of cavitation, and capable of improving self-priming performance.SOLUTION: An impeller 31 is constituted by a disk-shaped hub 32, and four blades 33 radially provided on a disk surface 32a of the hub 32. The blades 33 are spirally formed with respect to a rotation center 34 respectively. Each of the blades 33 include an outer peripheral surface 33b confronting an inner peripheral surface of a volute, a front curved surface 33c, a rear surface 33d, a rotation direction rear end surface 33e forming a rotation direction rear end side, and an axial direction end surface 33a. The rear surface 33d of the blade 33 is formed along the outer peripheral surface 33b. The blade 33 is formed from a rotation direction front end side to the rotation direction rear end side so that a distance between the outer peripheral surface 33b and the rear surface 33d is a width W1 and constant. In the blade 33, a rotation direction rear end 33f in the outer peripheral surface 33b is formed to be a recessed step surface 33g. |
