An infrastructure arrangement for use in an underwater power generation installation includes a support structure adapted for engagement with a bed of a body of water, and an infrastructure module adapted to house infrastructure equipment for connection to power generating units of the installation. The infrastructure module is releasably engageable with the support structure.

An underwater power generating installation comprising a power generation system, and an infrastructure arrangement which houses infrastructure equipment for the installation, the infrastructure equipment being connected with the power generating system, wherein the infrastructure arrangement comprises a support structure adapted for engagement with a bed of a body of water, and an infrastructure module adapted to house such infrastructure equipment, and adapted to be releasably engageable with the support structure.
