PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder allowing the visual confirmation of whether or not a medium is arranged in an automatically carriable position, in a state of executing work for arranging the medium in a carrying passage.SOLUTION: A recorder 11 comprises: a housing 12 having an opening 13; an opening-closing body 17 arrangeable in a closing position for covering the opening 13 and an opening position for exposing the opening 13; a medium holding part 16 for holding the medium S; a recording part for recording on the medium S; and a carrying mechanism for carrying the medium S along a carrying passage toward the recording part from the medium holding part 16. The medium holding part 16 is provided with: an insertion port 28 for the medium S connected to the carrying passage; and a notifying part 27 for notifying the fact of arranging the medium S in a carriable position by the carrying mechanism. When the opening-closing body 17 is arranged in the opening position, the insertion port 28 and the notifying part 27 can be visually confirmed. |
