<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silica particle material excellent in handleability and a surface treatment method for obtaining a silica particle material excellent in handleability by surface-treating silica particles.SOLUTION: Silica particles are surface-treated with a silane coupling agent and an organosilazane to obtain the silica particle material. The ratio of the number of X's (phenyl groups, vinyl groups, epoxy groups, methacrylic groups, amino groups, ureido groups, mercapto groups, isocyanate groups, or acrylic groups) to the number of R's (C1-C3 alkyl groups) present on the surface of the silica particle material is set in a specific range by setting the molar ratio of the silane coupling agent to the organosilazane in a specific range, thereby achieving both affinity for a resin and aggregation inhibition.</p> |
