<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform automatic update of programs at appropriate timing. <P>SOLUTION: A program update management server comprises: a storage means for storing update programs for updating management target programs; a reception means for receiving client information which can identify a version of the management target program installed in a client terminal from each client terminal; a detection means for detecting status of each client terminal; a setting means for setting update recommending timing for each client terminal according to the client information and the status; an update recommending means for transmitting update recommendation information to each client terminal at the update recommending timing; and a program transmission means for transmitting the update program to each client terminal receiving the update recommendation information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
