<p>It is disclosed a riser box suitable for housing an optical connection between a riser cable and a drop cable of an optical access network. The riser box comprises: a base having a first channel and a second channel configured to allow the riser cable passing through the base along opposite sides thereof, at least one splice tray, and an adapter configured to support the splice tray(s). The adapter is alternatively connectable to the base according to a first configuration, in which it engages the first channel and leaves the second channel free, and a second configuration, in which it engages the second channel and leaves the first channel free.</p> |
