<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection apparatus which is capable of accurately performing a visual inspection on an inspection target in complicated shape. <P>SOLUTION: A visual inspection apparatus 100 comprises an imaging unit 40 which is arranged while being tilted with respect to an inspection target 10 and images the inspection target 10 at every predetermined rotation angle, a luminance image generation unit S12 which processes an image signal of the imaging unit 40 to generate luminance image data G1-G24, an image conversion unit S14 which rearranges pixels at the same position in the luminance image data G1-G24 in the order of magnitudes of luminance values and converts the luminance image data G1-G24 into converted image data g1-g24, a determination image generation unit S15 which subtracts a luminance value of each of pixels in one of the converted image data g2-g23 items from a luminance value of each of pixels in the converted image data g1 or the converted image data g24 to generate determination image data g', and an abnormality determination unit S16 which determines visual abnormality of the inspection target 10 on the basis of a luminance value of each of pixels in the determination image data g'. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
