PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply system that enables supply of hot water having a required temperature with high stability while suppressing a heating operation of a combustion type water heater.SOLUTION: A tank controller 41 detects the amount of remaining hot water in a hot water storage tank 31 and categorizes the remaining hot water amount into large amount and small amount at start of hot water supply from a hot water delivery pipe 32. The detecting operation is performed so that a remaining hot water threshold value used for categorizing the remaining hot water amount into the large amount and the small amount is changed in accordance with elapsed time since completion of a heating operation of a combustion type water heater 10. When the remaining hot water amount is the large amount, the heating operation of the combustion type water heater 10 is not performed until a hot water shortage state is achieved, and hot water is supplied via a bypass pipe 34. When the remaining hot water amount is the small amount, the heating operation of the combustion type water heater 10 is performed to supply hot water. |
