<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image heating device in which a recording material can be prevented from being caught by a heat roller and pressure means even in the case of the occurrence of jamming of the recording material.SOLUTION: The image heating device includes: a heat roller heated by a heating member; a pressure member which forms a nip part through which a recording material having a toner image formed thereon is held and transported, between the heat roller and the pressure member itself; one or more first guide means which guide the recording material and are displaced between a first reference position where they are spaced from the heat roller and a first displacement position where they are in contact with or proximity to the heat roller; and one or more second guide means which guide the recording material and are displaced between a second reference position where they are spaced from the pressure member and a second displacement position where they are in contact with or proximity to the pressure member. Displacement from the first reference position to the first displacement position of at least partial first guide means and displacement from the second reference position to the second displacement position of at least partial second guide means are interlocked with each other.</p> |
