<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which enables a user to grasp a paper width of a printing paper sheet before setting the printing paper sheet in the printer.SOLUTION: Inside a printer 4, a printer case 25 is provided that accommodates an inkjet head 54, a suction platen 34 and the like. The suction platen 34 includes a plurality of suction ports 36 on a platen surface 35. A shutter 37 for opening and closing some of the suction ports 36 is mounted on the suction platen. On a case top face 25b of the printer case 25, a handling explanatory label 58 is attached on which measures 55 and 56 and an operation explanatory drawing 57 of the shutter 37 are printed. A user, before setting a printing paper sheet in the printer 4, is enabled to measure a width size of the printing paper sheet by using the measures 55 and 56. Further, when operating the shutter 37 according to the width size of the printing paper sheet, the user can refer to the operation explanatory drawing 57 of the handling explanatory label 58.</p> |
