PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently correct a focus detection result without relying on an aperture value upon focus detection in an imaging plane phase difference AF.SOLUTION: An interchangeable lens 2 is mounted to an imaging device 1 that performs phase difference detection type focus detection using an image pickup element, and the interchangeable lens has: an imaging optics in which an aperture value is variable; storage means 31 for storing mutually different correction information for use in correction of a result of focus detection in the imaging device, and corresponding to each of a plurality of storage aperture values; and lens-side control means 26 for transmitting to the imaging device correction information corresponding to the storage aperture value matching a request aperture value, which is an aperture value received from the imaging device and upon detecting a focus. When the request aperture value is not included in the storage aperture values, the control means transmits to the imaging device the correction information corresponding to the storage aperture value on a full aperture side rather than the request aperture value, and then, transmits to the imaging device correction information corresponding to the storage aperture value on a small aperture side rather than the request aperture value.
|
