A cinematograph film of the kind having a row of perforations P and bearing groups V1, B1, R1; Vz, B2, R2;... of three conjugate elementary black and white images, each group designed to form a single composite colour image, has the elementary images disposed side by side but distributed so that successive images of like "colour" are separated by at least one elementary image of different "colour", the elementary images of a like group being of different dimensions. The elementary image corresponding to green is the largest, the red and blue being either the same size or the blue image being half as large as the red image. The images may be anamorphosed by contraction longtudinally relative to the film, the degree of anamorphosis not being the same for the three elementary images. |
