[Also in Division B5] Tapered plastics bags or sleeves are formed in pairs joined by perforations 43 so that they have a generally parallelogram form. In the form illustrated the sleeves have curved sides and opposite ends have flaps to facilitate opening the sleeves. The narrow ends may be closed by seams which preferably extend slightly beyond the intersecting seams 34, 33. The bags may be formed from tubing by transverse welding and parting, the mouth being opened by cutting away part of the web adjacent the fold. |
