PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install application software in a client device that corresponds to attributes of the client device, on establishing connection between the client device and a printer.SOLUTION: A print server 10 comprises: a request reception unit 11 which receives a printer connection request from a client device; an acquisition unit 12 which acquires attribute information from the client device; a generation unit 14 which determines configuration of an application according to the acquired attribute information and generates an application installer for installing the application having the determined configuration in the client device; and a request response unit 15 which transmits to the client device the generated application installer and a file and configuration information of a printer driver corresponding to a printer specified in the printer connection request, as a response to the printer connection request. |
