A container for coilable material comprises a main outer case 5 provided with a spindle 6 and adapted to receive a plurality of inner cases 1 each provided with a hollow hub 2 which has an extension 3 projecting through a lid 4 into the hub of an adjacent inner case (Fig. 1). The hubs are engaged on the spindle 6 of the outer case 5 and are retained in stacked formation therein by screw means 11 engaging the spindle 6. The outer case 5 and its lid 7 may be cylindrical and provided with pads 12 of spongy material. Projections 8, 9 (Fig. 2, not shown) to prevent the container from rolling, and a handle (10) may be provided. Corrugations 5 may be made in the skirt of the outer container and its lid to promote air circulation. |
