PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform insertion operation which does not cause discomfort for a user when inserting a magnetic card.SOLUTION: A magnetic card reader 10 notifies card insertion detection information when it detects insertion of a magnetic card. When a card insertion detection information reception part 12 receives the card insertion detection information, a confirmation button display instruction part 13 instructs a display device 11a to display a confirmation button. A user checks the confirmation button, and the confirmation button is pressed by an input device 11b. When a confirmation button press confirmation part 14 confirms pressing of the confirmation button, a card suction instruction part 15 instructs the magnetic card reader 10 to restart card suction operation. Thus, when the user inserts the magnetic card, the pressing of the confirmation button is known to the user, so that the user seldom notices even when the magnetic card reader 10 performs, right after the confirmation button is pressed, operation uncomfortable to a user in which discharge operation is performed during the suction operation. |
