PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front door structure of an automobile that can reduce a pubic load of an occupant at a lateral collision of the automobile.SOLUTION: The front door structure of an automobile, provided at a side of an occupant seated on a front seat 11, has: an energy absorption portion 25 that is arranged at a waist part opposing region opposing to the waist part of the occupant and absorbs impact; and a speaker 26 that enhances further rigidity of a knee parts-opposing region opposing to the knee parts of the occupant than the rigidity of the surrounding region of the knee parts-opposing region, so that upon a side collision of the automobile, the energy absorption portion 25 absorbs impact to the waist part due to the collision and the speaker 26 pushes the knee part K1 closer to the collision portion toward inside in a vehicle width direction. This causes the knee part K1 closer to the collision portion to push the other knee part K2 so that interference between the root of the thigh part closer to the collision portion and the other thigh part and the iliac bone is relaxed to allow the pubic load of the occupant to be reduced.
