PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a treatment effect for functional disorder of the oral cavity and laryngopharynx by effectively applying an electrical stimulus to oral cavity and laryngopharynx regions (tongue, pharyngeal wall, and palate fauces, in particular) of a patient.SOLUTION: There is provided an oral cavity and laryngopharynx stimulation method using an electric stimulation device for applying an electric stimulus to oral cavity and laryngopharynx regions, equipped with an oscillator to generate electric current for electric stimulation, and an electrode to transmit the electric current for electric stimulation generated by the oscillator to the oral cavity and laryngopharynx regions of a living body. The method includes a positioning process for positioning the electrode in a jaw lower part and/or a front neck part, and a cheek part of the living body, and a generation process for generating the electric current for electric stimulation for the living body. |
