<p>The appliance has a tool (1) e.g. chain saw, actuated by an electric actuator (2), and a battery (3) for providing energy needed to run the tool. A Bluetoothtype communication system allows exchange of information between the tool and the battery, where the battery and the tool are connected to one another. The system adapts operating parameters of the tool based on characteristics of the battery and/or operating parameters of the battery based on the operating parameters of the tool. The battery is selected from a group of batteries such as lithium ion battery, lithium ion polymer battery, lithium manganese battery, lithium cobalt battery or lithium alloy battery.</p> |
