The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display. The liquid crystal display includes: a plurality of pixels which is arranged along a matrix direction, and includes a first pixel column - a sixth pixel column; a plurality of gate lines which is located by two at every pixel row along the row direction; a plurality of data lines including a first data line on the left of the first pixel column, a second data line between the second and the third pixel column, a third data line between the fourth and the fifth pixel column and a fourth data line on the right of the sixth pixel column; and a plurality of common voltage lines including a first common voltage line between the first and the second pixel column, a second common voltage line between the third and the fourth pixel column and a third common voltage line between the fifth and the sixth pixel column. Each data line is connected two pixel electrodes adjacent to one side at the odd-numbered pixel row and is connected two pixel electrodes adjacent to another side at the even-numbered pixel row. The first common voltage line is disconnected between the odd-numbered pixel row and the even-numbered pixel row just below the same, and the second and the third common voltage line are disconnected between the even-numbered pixel row and the even-numbered pixel row just below the same. The liquid crystal display device can reduce delay of a signal applied to the common electrode without degradation of an aperture ratio, and also can be driven with low power consumption.
