PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an intuitive operation while improving designability of an operation panel.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes an operation panel and control means for controlling the operation panel. The operation panel has: a plurality of display parts; a plurality of operation parts which are provided corresponding to a part of the display parts among the plurality of display parts and in which a touch operation is performed by a user; a start button which receives the touch operation for starting an operation from the user; operation detection means for detecting the touch operation to the operation parts and the start button; and display means for switching between display and non-display of the display parts and switching between display and non-display of the start button. One part among the plurality of the display parts is a hierarchy display part configured by being separated into a plurality of hierarchies. The control means displays at least the start button and the hierarchy display part corresponding to setting content currently selected out of the hierarchy display parts which belong to the uppermost hierarchy, as an initial display after turning on the power until the first detection of the touch operation to the operation parts is detected. |
