1. A method comprising:
receiving a user input, at an apparatus, that identifies an object whose location is sought in a physical environment surrounding the apparatus; determining, in response to the user input, at least one identifying feature of the object based, at least in part, on the user input; capturing an image of the physical environment; determining, in response to the user input and the capturing of the image of the physical environment, that the object is present within the physical environment by way of analyzing, with a processor, the image of the physical environment for patterns that at least partially match the identifying feature; and causing the object within the image of the physical environment to be highlighted in response to the object being determined to be present within the image of the physical environment.
