PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to evaluate a skin surface condition by a lower cost configuration.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a non-polarization light emitting part that emits non-polarization component light; a polarization light emitting part that emits specific polarization component light via a first polarization filter; and an imager that images, via a second polarization filter, a subject illuminated by the non-polarization light emitting part or polarization emitting part. The polarization direction of the first polarization filter and that of the second polarization filter are orthogonal to each other. The imager images a subject illuminated by the non-polarization light emitting part and a subject illuminated by the polarization light emitting part in a time division manner, and outputs a non-polarization image and an orthogonal polarization image that are acquired as a result of time division imaging. The technique according to disclosure can be applied in an imager or the like, used to evaluate, for example, a skin surface condition. |
