In an outer tube (12) for syringes, an inner circumferential section (26) of a trunk section (18) has a tapered section (28) having an internal diameter that gradually increases from the base end towards the tip, in a main area in the axial direction. A mold (50) for injection molding comprises: a female mold (52) having a cavity (53) being a recessed section that molds an outer surface of the outer tube (12) for syringes; and a male mold (54) having a core (65) having a trunk section molding section (66) provided therein that molds the inner circumferential section (26) of the trunk section (18). The trunk section molding section (66) of the core (65) has a taper-molding section (67) having an external diameter that gradually increases from the base end to the tip, in the main area in the axial direction. |
