<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the machine cycle speed of a digital system and the like including a flash memory by increasing the operation speed of a flash memory and the like and improving the convenience. SOLUTION: Flash memory and the like operating synchronously conforming to a serial clock signal SC and having a serial input/output function are provided with a data input/output cycle control circuit NC in which an input/output start cycle or an input/output pitch cycle is held, the number of cycles of a serial clock signal after input of a start command are counted, an input/output start cycle or an input/output pitch cycle is compared and verified with the number of cycles mentioned above, and an input/output start cycle coincidence signal SCM or an input/output pitch cycle coincidence signal PCM is made selectively an effective level. And an input/output start cycle, with which input or output operation of write-data or read-data is to be started and an input/ output pitch cycle, with which input or output operation is to be repeated, can be arbitrarily set.</p> |
