<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for properly discriminating whether a received broadcast is a broadcast by a main broadcast station or that by an area broadcast station.SOLUTION: A broadcast station type determination device calculates as a first absolute value the absolute value of a rate of change between received powers before and after shift to a first physical channel stored in a received power storage unit, calculates as a second absolute value the absolute value of a rate of change between received powers before and after shift to a second physical channel stored in the received power storage unit, compares the calculated first absolute value and second absolute value with each other, and determines the broadcast of a physical channel with larger one of the absolute values as an area broadcast.</p> |
