<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and to a method for controlling the inactivity time of a mobile terminal to be connected to a base station. According to the present invention, the apparatus for controlling inactivity time of the terminal to be connected to the base station includes: a calculating unit which calculates the number of terminals to be connected to the base station at the same time; and a controlling unit which determines whether the number of the terminals to be calculated from the calculating unit is greater than a critical value and controls the inactive time of the mobile terminal.</p> |
