<p>An object of the present invention is to prevent improper deformation of a rectangular tube portion. A terminal fitting T includes a locking plate portion 19 extending from a lateral or left side plate portion 17 (one side plate portion), a stabilizer 22 projecting from a lateral or right side plate portion 18 (other side plate portion), a cutout 35 formed at the extending end edge of the locking plate portion 19 and configured to restrict relative displacements of the locking plate portion 19 and the lateral or right side plate portion 18 by being engaged with the stabilizer 22, a first linking portion 27 linking the base plate portion 16 and a first plate-like contact piece 23 (one plate-like contact piece), a second linking portion 28 linking the lateral or right side plate portion 18 and a second plate-like contact piece 24 (other plate-like contact piece) and a restricting portion 36 formed on the locking plate portion 19 and configured to restrict a displacement of the second plate-like contact piece 24 in a direction away from the first plate-like contact piece 23.</p> |
