<p>PURPOSE: A clothes dryer and a control method thereof are provided to check the error wiring of the power source by a user by indicating the power source information in a display member. CONSTITUTION: A clothes dryer comprises a power supply unit(50), a converting unit(60), a sensor(80), and a controller. The single-phase three-wire system power source is applied in the power supply unit. The converting unit converts and outputs the single-phase three-wire system power source which is applied in the power supply unit. The sensor measures the output voltage outputted from the converting unit. The controller decides the error wiring of the single-phase three-wire system power source which is applied in the power supply unit, based on the size of the output voltage.</p> |
