A liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes a thin film transistor formed on a first substrate, a first orientation layer formed on the thin film transistor, a color filter which is formed on a second substrate which is separated from the first substrate by a constant distance, a second orientation layer formed on the color filter, and a liquid crystal layer which is filled between the first substrate and the second substrate. The area of the first orientation layer is different from that of the second orientation layer. The leakage of light between a liquid crystal display panel and a cover member of mounting the liquid crystal display panel can be prevented by correcting the warpage level of an upper substrate and a lower substrate. |
